Overview:
The Operations Technician’s purpose is to control the operating processes in a safe and efficient manner and ensure that the process is continuously optimised. This is carried out in the main control room by operating the Distributed Control System (DCS) and its auxiliaries.
The position is key to the asset team process in displaying leadership, managing work and by setting and achieving organisational goals and objectives. There will be a requirement to move through outside operating positions on a routine rostered basis.
