Pam Bamber – Research Consultant

Pam has over 27 years of experience working internationally in both Oil & Gas and education.  She began her career in 1985 as a Geologist/Explorationist in London working on Middle East exploration projects before changing directions in 1990 by becoming a CITD qualified IT Microsoft Office Trainer.  Since then, Pam has developed her excellent communication skills and project planning abilities through working in educational roles within large international corporations; including working for Emirates Bank in Dubai as their Microsoft Master Instructor after moving to Dubai in 1996, teaching on the NEBS Supervisor course, involved in the National Graduate Development Programme and became a CELTA English Language Tutor.

On return to the UK in 2007 Pam became an A1 qualified NVQ Assessor with System Information Technology authorized to assess on the NVQ for IT Skills and the Business and Administration programmes.

Pam has also been heavily involved with the Girl Guiding Association in the UK for over 20 years, providing extensive administration and event management services along with leadership & mentoring skills.  She is also an Event Manager, organising events such as the American Women’s Association of Aberdeen annual Winter Gift and Craft Fair and international camps for Girl Guiding.

Pam holds a BSc in Geology and Geography and an MSc in Stratigraphy. She is a member of PESGB.

Pam joined the team at Strathdee Resourcing Partnership early 2012 becoming a valued member of the team, utilising her industry knowledge and experience to focus on candidate identification and research, playing a vital role in working with all consultants as part of the attraction team on each Search.
